A TALE OF REVENGE STARTS HERE……..
Arundhati (Anushka) belongs to Gadwal samsthanam in 1920’s. She is known for her bravery in saving the Samstanam by killing Pasupathi (Sonu Sood) an evildoer who creates ruckus in that place. She is praised as Jejemma (named after the famous Goddess in that area). But the spirit of Pasupathi haunts that place. Another girl is born in the same lineage after 3 generations and she is named as Arundhati. The spirit of Pasupati is after Arundhati to take the revenge.

Deva (Surya) is a post graduate living with his mother (Renuka), who runs a grocery shop.

While she wants him to take up a government job and not be like his father who was a petty smuggler, Deva ends up becoming the henchman of Das (Prabhu), who smuggles jewellery. In the course of time, Deva falls in love with Yamuna (Tamannaah), his friend sister, and also develops enmity with Kamlesh (Akashdeep Saigal), who can’t digest the success of Deva- Das combination. Subsequently, Kamlesh, in a bid to get rich quick, starts dealing in narcotics, which is against the principles and ethics of Deva-Das combo. All this leads to a bloody confrontation between the two as they go for each other’s throat.

No, I don’t mean ‘The Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift’. I meant our Malaysian version of it: Evolusi KL Drift. Put on your seatbelt and gear up as we join in the world of drifting. Unlike Tokyo Drift, KL Drift doesn’t use a bit of CG effects and trickery and THAT makes the adrenalin pumping more real and seat-grabbing!
Not to mention the car models featured - R34 GT-T, a GT-R badge sporting R33 GTS-R, a few S13 Silvias, one FD and a quite decent widebody S15-80 – will definitely make car enthusiasts go goo-goo ga-ga over them! Oh, and some of the credits goes to Fasha Sandha for proving GIRLS too, can drift. *winks*
